In the eighties Verstraete Verbauwede NV embarked on a new venture: silk looking rugs.
A new door of opportunities was opened!
By using the best viscose yarn, sometimes in combination with cotton we created a range of products which is exceptionnaly soft and rich.

BIDJAR is our 5 frame quality. Luxurious softness in this mix of viscose and acrylic. Our oriental designs can not be recognized from a real silk rug ! KESHANA the ultimate experience. You are lost once you have felt this quality. The combination of viscose with cotton and acrylic makes it an irresistible eyecatcher.
KATMANDU , a combination of velvet and uncutted epinglé brings a nice high-low level and shadow effect.
The épinglé technique was used to weave the CHENIVEL quality. A blend of cotton, viscose and jute in nice natural colours in simple designs.
